Successful Conclusion of the FlexDeMo Project
Consortium Presents Toolbox for Participatory and Simulation-Based Assembly Planning
We would like to express our sincere thanks to Spaleck Oberflächentechnik GmbH & Co. KG for hosting our joint final event in Bocholt on September 22, 2022! The presentation of the central project results provided exciting insights into assembly planning and control in SMEs as well as into the development of the supporting tools, which are now freely available as toolbox. The program also included keynote presentations on employee-centered software development and participatory work design, as well as an on-site tour of the modern production facility.
The participants agreed that not only the event, but also the entire project was very successful. Partners were Westfälische Hochschule, Institute of Industrial Engineering and Ergonomics at RWTH Aachen, Databay AG, Spaleck Oberflächentechnik GmbH & Co. KG, INTRAVIS GmbH, Miele & Cie. KG, Flender GmbH, EvoBus GmbH.
The excellent cooperation in the consortium should definitely be continued!
The project is financed with funding provided by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and the European Social Fund (ESF) under the "Future of work" programme (funding number: 02L18B001) and implemented by the Project Management Agency Karlsruhe (PTKA).
