This year's International Conference on Applied Human Factors and Ergonomics was held in New York from July 24 to 28, 2022, and provided insight into a wide variety of research findings related to human factors and ergonomics. IAW was represented with a total of five contributions within three different project contexts.
For the project LUTZ, IAW was present with a publication on the didactical concept of the learning application entitled Motivational Design of an E-Learning Application for Managers in Healthcare and with a publication on the evaluation of the modeling of the participative leadership model in decision-making situations entitled Participative Leadership in Healthcare: Which Situational Contextual Factors Influence Managers' Decision to Involve Employees.
In the context of the Cluster of Excellence Internet of Production, the publication Multimodal Human Systems Exploration with Tangible XR for the Internet of Production: An Expert Survey was produced.
Also for the DFG priority program System Ergonomics for Cooperatively Interacting Automobiles, two papers were published: Control Centers for Maneuver-based Teleoperation of Highly Automated and Autonomous Vehicles: System Model and Requirements and Confidence Horizon for a Dynamic Balance between Drivers and Vehicle Automation: First Sketch and Application.
We are pleased about the numerous publications and thank all authors for their contributions!
