1st DenkfabrEthik on the Topic: Digital Change
Together with Professor Dominik Groß from the RWTH Aachen University and Dr. Constanze Kurz from the Chaos Computer Club, more than 100 people took part in the first Aachener DenkfabrEthik and engaged in an open discourse on the digital transformation. Following a greeting by the patron and Lord Mayor of the City of Aachen – represented by the 1st Lord Mayor of the City of Aachen Dr. Margrethe Schmeer, the lecture by Professor Dominik Groß from the RWTH Aachen University on the topic of “Ethics vs. Technology.” followed. Dr. Constanze Kurz from the Chaos Computer Club then spoke on the topic of “Big Data – The new wealth of data”. Finally, an open discussion took place between the experts and the audience. The results and thoughts of these discussions were collected and formulated as recommendations for action and questions. A summary overview of the event was also provided by the WDR through a contribution by Aachener Lokalzeit on November 30, 2015.
