LUTZ has Started

Research Project to Develop a Digital Learning Environment for Healthcare Leaders

On May 1, 2020, the research project “LUTZ – Lernumgebung für transformationale Führungsarbeit der Zukunft” (Learning Environment for Transformational Leadership of the Future), funded by the BMBF and co-funded by the ESF, was launched. Together with the project partners Eumedias AG, Fraunhofer IFF, Humanas Pflege GmbH & Co. KG and Databay AG, the IAW is collaborating on the development and testing of a learning environment for executives in the healthcare sector. Especially in this sector, middle management executives often face complex challenges in meeting the demands of employees, patients, politics, and the insurance industry. The goal of the digital learning environment is therefore to raise executives to their leadership behavior when making decisions on complex issues in the area of conflict between organizational and corporate cultural requirements. In addition, the learning environment is intended to motivate them to weigh up various alternative courses of action. The LUTZ research consortium is looking forward to the content-related and technical challenges of developing the digital learning environment over the next three years.
