Digital Health Engineering and Entrepreneurial Innovation
In cooperation with the WIN Chair (Professor Brettel, Fac. 8), the IAW – Institut für Arbeitswissenschaft (Institute of Industrial Engineering and Ergonomics) – offered the module "Digital Health Engineering and Entrepreneurial Innovation" for master students in the summer semester 2019. The focus of this interdisciplinary block seminar was developing digital solutions for everyday challenges of an aging society in health service.
Interactive lectures, exercises and several guest lectures provided the necessary entrepreneurial and technical knowledge. Participants then worked in small teams to develop a business plan and an app using MIT’s AppInventor.
The team with the most promising concept consisting of business plan and app won a two-day trip to our partner CapDigital in Paris including a guided tour of the Innovation Space and numerous opportunities to network with other startups.
The person responsible for providing information is research assistant Dr. Rasche. Registration is possible via RWTHonline until March 22, 2019.
