13th AOWI Conference in Kassel
Research Contributions of the IAW
The 13th conference of the sections for Work, Organizational and Business Psychology as weel as Engineering Psychology of the German Psychological Society was held in Kassel from September 12 to 15. The conference motto Proactive adaptation to a changing world of work" was discussed in a series of keynotes and a number of exciting symposia against the background of current psychological research findings.
The IAW was represented by Matthias Arend, Sebastian Pütz, Christina Mayer and Fabian Willemsen with a total of three research presentations. The presentations provided insights into scientific findings from the Cluster of Excellence Internet of Production and the research projects LUTZ as well as KI-LIAS and VoBAKI. The IAW contributions addressed research results on capturing the mental state of workers interacting with highly automated systems, on shared leadership and its influence on productivity and satisfaction of team members, and on relevant factors that organizations should consider when introducing AI applications.
