Successful Completion of the Project “DuBA – Permeability Between the Technical College and University System”
Research Partners Publish Recommendations for Action to Promote Reciprocal Permeability at DQR Level 6
The DuBa project was brought to a successful conclusion with the publication of empirically supported recommendations for the design of reciprocal permeability between the technical and higher education systems.
Together with Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg, IAW researchers investigated system transitions between academic and vocational education and training at DQR level 6. To this end, particularly successful cooperative relationships between technical and higher education institutions were empirically recorded and analyzed. In addition to the institutional perspective, the views and experiences of affected students were also included. The findings from the field were then discussed with experts and combined in a concept for action in order to identify potential for expanding permeability between the technical college and university systems in the area of technical education and degree programs.
