What impact do digital technologies have on employees' autonomy, skill variety, and learning and development opportunities? How can negative effects on motivation and satisfaction be avoided already in the planning phase of digitalization projects?
These questions were addressed by the IAW in the project "Participative and Prospective Work Design - Reloaded". In companies of different sizes and industries, work tasks were analyzed and evaluated in terms of ergonomic criteria before and after the introduction of digital technologies.
An overview of the results is provided in the working paper issued at the end of the project.

The project “Partizipative und Prospektive Arbeitsgestaltung – reloaded” (Participative and Prospective Work Design – reloaded, funding code: 2018-447-1) was funded by the Hans-Böckler-Stiftung as part of the research network “Digitalisierung im Betrieb” (Digitalization in the workplace).
