Project Launch B³ Batterie-Bildungsnetzwerk Bayern

Kick-off Meeting in Augsburg!

From June 21 to 22, 2023, the partners of the project “B3 Batterie-Bildungsnetzwerk Bayern” met at the project coordination Bayern Innovativ in Augsburg for the official kick-off. In the project, professional qualification measures for companies in the “battery ecosystem” are being developed in cooperation with professional and didactic partners from the state of Bavaria. The focus of the qualification measures will be on materials, components, battery cells, battery modules and systems, as well as recycling and the secondary use of batteries. The Technical Vocational Education and Training Department, headed by Professor Martin Frenz, supports the project by surveying the needs of work process-oriented offers and subsequently deriving sensible further training offers on the basis of company work processes. Represented by its research assistant Soeren Roesges and the student assistant Ulrich Kreins, the IAW was already able to identify the first company survey locations for the needs assessments during the kick-off in the context of a workshop.
