Successful 4th KI-LIAS Consortial Meeting in Bonn
Exciting Exchange on AI-based Assistance Systems
The fourth consortial meeting in the KI-LIAS project has taken place at the Wissenschaftszentrum Bonn. The event, which took place on March 8 and 9, not only provided ample opportunity for the exchange of experiences between the companies, but also for a visit to the “Mission AI” in the Deutsches Museum Bonn. Further suggestions for the successful realization of AI projects were given by an impulse lecture from the benchmarking study Successful Practices AI in Operations of the WZL, short for Laboratory for Machine Tools and Production Engineering (WZL) of RWTH Aachen University. In a workshop moderated by the IAW, short for Institute of Industrial Engineering and Ergonomics, best practices were collected from the perspective of the company partners. One result of the workshop was that the short-cycle involvement of different stakeholders in the AI introduction process is a success factor for the participating companies. The workshop results will be included in the planned KI-LIAS final brochure, which will be made available on our project site after its publication. Also in preparation is a journal article on the potential analysis conducted in the project. More information will follow shortly.
