Book Publication: Work in the Digitalized World – Practical Examples and Design Solutions From the BMBF Funding Priority

Springer-Verlag has now published another Open Access publication from the funding priority “Arbeit in der digitalisierten Welt” (Work in the Digitalized World) with the collaboration of the IAW – Institut für Arbeitswissenschaft (Institute of Industrial Engineering and Ergonomics) – at RWTH Aachen University. This publication contains contributions from 29 joint projects as well as the accompanying joint project “TransWork”. Within the framework of the funding priority “Arbeit in der digitalisierten Welt” (Work in the Digitalized World) of the BMBF – Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung (Federal Ministry of Education and Research), developments in the transformation process of the world of work were analyzed, approaches to solutions were developed and these were scientifically accompanied. The articles provide insights into the findings and concepts developed by the projects. From this, recommendations for action can be derived for actors in politics and business, and new research impulses can be generated for science. The book can be accessed online at SpringerLink.
