FORobotics is Excellent!

In a final evaluation of the research network “FORobotics”, the network was awarded the top grade “excellent”. In the joint project funded by the Bayerische Forschungsstiftung (Bavarian Research Foundation), 20 commercial companies and 9 scientific institutions worked for 3.5 years on the development of mobile, ad-hoc cooperating robot teams. The IAW was involved in all six subprojects of the research project and conducted numerous studies to investigate prerequisites for the human-friendly use of mobile robot platforms in the workplace.
